I always say &#8216;Good morning&#8217; once I&#8217;ve begun the service with &#8216;in the name of&#8230;.&#8217;, which establishes the context. It is, of course, possible to go too far in the other direction and render a service completely inhuman and mechanical.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t agree with the other change mentioned at the end of the article though &#8211; seems to leave the priest out of the shared invocation.<\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Priests must not say &#8216;good morning&#8217; to their congregation.
