{"id":1416,"date":"2009-01-10T10:53:00","date_gmt":"2009-01-10T10:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elizaphanian.com\/?p=1416"},"modified":"2009-01-10T10:53:00","modified_gmt":"2009-01-10T10:53:00","slug":"a-rise-in-seismic-activity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elizaphanian.com\/?p=1416","title":{"rendered":"A rise in seismic activity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the recent articles I read about AGW talked about the <a href=\"http:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2009\/01\/08\/the-new-nasa-solar-goalpost-cycle-24-maybe-not-so-big\/\">dropping off in solar activity<\/a> and there was another one which I can&#8217;t now place which linked solar activity to seismic activity on earth (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.springerlink.com\/content\/753717276h869880\/\">which makes sense<\/a>) &#8211; in other words we can look forward to a more active earth, more earthquakes and volcanoes and so on.<\/p>\n<p>Which implies that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/nation\/article\/0,8599,1858460,00.html\">the long delayed Californian quake<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/news.nationalgeographic.com\/news\/2005\/07\/0714_050714_tokyoquake.html\">Tokyo disasters<\/a> are just around the corner.
