{"id":1477,"date":"2008-12-13T15:08:00","date_gmt":"2008-12-13T15:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elizaphanian.com\/?p=1477"},"modified":"2008-12-13T15:08:00","modified_gmt":"2008-12-13T15:08:00","slug":"a-reading-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elizaphanian.com\/?p=1477","title":{"rendered":"A reading group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the last few months Stephen Law led <a href=\"http:\/\/stephenlaw.blogspot.com\/search\/label\/BOOK%20CLUB%3A%20The%20God%20Delusion\">a &#8216;group read&#8217; of Dawkins&#8217; God Delusion<\/a>, which I think worked out fairly well, although I didn&#8217;t comment as much as I might have done as he was fairly restrictive in what he wanted to cover. I&#8217;m inclined to do something similar here, as I think there is a good crowd of people from all over the spectrum of belief and unbelief.<\/p>\n<p>The book I&#8217;m going to begin with is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Victory-Reason-Christianity-Freedom-Capitalism\/dp\/1400062284\">Rodney Stark&#8217;s &#8220;The Victory of Reason&#8221;<\/a>.
