I was most intrigued by the information about solar flare activity and <a href=\"http:\/\/science.nasa.gov\/headlines\/y2006\/10mar_stormwarning.htm\">the sunspot cycle, which seems as if it is gearing up to a high point in 2011 or so<\/a>; and the way in which global warming might provoke increased volcanic activity. As I&#8217;m persuaded that we are moving into a pretty scary time anyway, much of this was useful.
