This is the key point, as portrayed by Colin Campbell back in 2006:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"368\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-5wOwSG8oH1c\/UDtHud1QhEI\/AAAAAAAAE8s\/MOx0wE2Ka68\/s1600\/oil+price+shocks+campbell.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The recession &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/elizaphanian.blogspot.co.uk\/2005\/10\/great-dislocation.html\">the great dislocation<\/a> &#8211; will not stop until we either replace oil-based transport or learn to do without it.
