My desktop computer has died. As in – it gets to the DOS start up screen and then freezes. Yikes.

UPDATE @10.52 – problem fixed! I had overloaded my graphics card. Might go wrong again, so I suspect I need to upgrade it in due course. Maybe a birthday present…
