Read this a while ago, but forgot to write it up – until Kyle reminded me of it. Cracking book. I even read a portion to my 4year old son at bedtime, who is very interested in knights and battles and such like at the moment.

Marvellous story, inspirational (attitudes much like the ones I appreciate in The Two Towers). Visually very interesting – which the filmmakers seem to have captured in their adaptation.
