It is not a horror film at all. It is by the far anti-bullying film I’ve seen. Or the best pre-teen love film.
BTW, do you think we are meant to read the older man as an earlier version of the young boy (I’ve forgotten all their names)? That is, is that the kind of role he will have once he’s older? (She doesn’t age and there are hints that she is very old indeed).
