The Holy Father is coming under fire from the bleating morons; however, his speech which is available hereis a wonderful and quick introduction to something I believe in wholeheartedly – the integration of science and faith within a wider understanding of logos. “Not to act reasonably, not to act with logos, is contrary to the nature of God” – as he quotes. Wonderful.

The disputes between science and faith, when not irretrievably eviscerated by ignorance, are in fact a civil war within Christian theology. It is the lack of acknowledgement of that which compromises the conversation.
